The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.

The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Imaging Department has 3 hospital procedure rooms, 1 ED, and 4 rooms in the imaging area.
- It supports 17 radiologists providing a variety of imaging services.
- Most assignments are on shift with other sonographers at the same location.
- Cases will vary by location and bench assigned.
- Position requires 2 years of experience and proficiency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, R/O Ectopic.
- For some rotations, additional limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast and prostate competencies, and support for invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages are significant value add.
- Competency in use of Philips, and US Units. RDMS with RVT for US is required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- EPIC required, AS OB Reporting required.
- BLS required, Ultrasound Tech RVT Certified
