Job Title: Ultrasound Tech (RVT Certified)
Shift Timing: Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Location: Belmont, NC
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general abdominal (AB), R/O DVT, and R/O ectopic pregnancy scans with accuracy.
- Conduct limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, prostate, and specialized ultrasound imaging as needed.
- Assist physicians in thyroid and liver biopsies, as well as drainages, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units, ensuring proper calibration.
- Provide high-quality imaging data to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, HIPAA regulations, and infection control guidelines at all times.
- Educate and support patients throughout procedures, addressing concerns and explaining processes.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform scans at multiple hospital locations, adapting to different clinical environments as required.
- Maintain active RDMS certification with RVT credential, specializing in either AB or OB/GYN ultrasound.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience, including general AB, R/O DVT, and R/O ectopic pregnancy scans.
- Proficiency in limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate imaging.
- Experience supporting invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages.
- Competency in using Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units.
- RDMS with RVT credential required, along with AB or OB/GYN certification.
Required Certifications/Licensing:
- Registered ARDMS with RVT credential (AB or OB/GYN required).
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
Salary : $60 - $65
