JOB SUMMARY: Assists Quality in performance of assigned tasks and roles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate positive behaviors that reflect understanding and support of the organizational values set forth in the Stryker Sustainability Solutions Mission statement. Actively contribute to the company philosophy of providing quality service by treating all individuals with courtesy and sensitivity. Enhance teamwork by showing a willingness to be flexible in responding to the challenges facing the health care industry. Manage time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of positive problem solving skills. Continuously strive to improve quality of customer service by recognizing opportunities for improvement and ideas that would fall into the Ascent mission. Participate in creating a professional environment by maintaining a professional appearance and behavior. Punctuality and Attendance: Follow attendance policy as outlined in employee handbook. Documents required information using good documentation practices and following computer use policies. Assist in maintaining quality records. Communicate problems and suggestions to the appropriate supervisor. Communicate with all Ascent Associates concerning rules, regulations and procedures. Performs other duties as directed or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED. EXPERIENCE: A minimum two year experience supporting quality, manufacturing or distribution systems required. Minimum 2 years supporting quality systems preferred. REGISTRATION: None SKILLS: Good oral communication skills, has good organizational skills, the ability to interact with all Ascent associates and is computer literate. Works well with minimal supervision. Has ability to work with outside contractors. Environmental Conditions Worker may be exposed to chemicals, bio-hazardous material or adverse environmental conditions. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to a medically controlled environment. Subject to changes in procedure. Protective Equipment Protective equipment as indicated by area procedure. Physical Requirements: Occasional long work day. Prolonged standing, sitting and/or walking. Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. Of force occasionally to move objects. Visual Demands Near Acuity: ability to see at 20 inches or more. No color blindness.
