Position Overview:
The Quality Control and Billing Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of directional drilling operations and billing processes. This role involves conducting quality inspections on drilling operations, monitoring project standards, and managing billing procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively with teams to ensure both high-quality standards and accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control:
- Perform inspections and quality checks on drilling equipment, materials, and procedures.
- Monitor ongoing directional drilling projects to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations.
- Identify and resolve quality issues, documenting findings and actions taken.
- Coordinate with field teams and project managers to maintain high-quality project execution.
- Billing and Invoicing:
- Review project details, work orders, and contracts to ensure accurate billing for completed work.
- Track and verify costs related to labor, materials, and equipment for each project.
- Generate and submit invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all charges are correct.
- Address any billing discrepancies, working with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Experience in quality control, billing, or project coordination, preferably in the directional drilling or construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Experience with billing software or financial systems is highly preferred.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting purposes.
