Job Title: RN - Critical Care Stepdown
Location: Denison, TX
Duration: 03 Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM (03*12) (Six weekend shifts are required within a 6-week scheduling period. Must work at least two major holidays that include Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.)
Note: Candidate must live 50 miles above from the facility.

Job Summary:
- Performs body system assessment and accurately and promptly, including assessment of pain
- Assesses patient/family educational needs and expectations of hospitalizations
- Incorporates clinical indicators (labs, radiology, vital signs) in SBAR hand-off report to physician or other staff
- Assesses the biological, psychological, physical, and cultural needs of patients/families
- Recognizes and provides ongoing assessment of any change in patient condition
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license.
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH vasoactive drips, trach vents, DKA, insulin drips, etc.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
- NIHSS, BLS & ACLS - Required
- Critical Care Stepdown experience - Required: 2 Years
- Primary Source Verification - Required
