Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty : Critical Care Stepdown
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 12-hour Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : 2 years required in Critical Care Stepdown
License : Current state nursing license required
Certifications : NIHSS, BLS, & ACLS required
Must-Have : Experience with vasoactive drips, trach vents, DKA, insulin drips, etc.
Job Description :
- Monitor patients using advanced equipment and alert practitioners or physicians about serious changes.
- Administer specialized medications and treatments using medical equipment such as feeding tubes and catheters.
- Maintain complete and updated medical records.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, able to analyze, decide, and act quickly.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with colleagues at all levels.
- Manage stress under emotionally and physically demanding conditions.
- Communicate effectively with the families and guardians of patients.
