Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key practitioner responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to an identified group of patients, primarily within the Emergency Department (ED) and Trauma settings. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, ensuring high standards of practice and competency in treating a primarily adult population. The Staff RN will demonstrate proficiency in emergency and trauma care, adhering to the standards set by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and other relevant bodies.
- Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the ED and Trauma unit.
- Competency: Demonstrate clinical competency in delivering care to a primarily adult patient population.
- Standards of Practice: Follow essential functions and practices adapted from the ANA Nursing: Product and Standards of Practice.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interactions.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
- Emergency Response: Effectively manage acute and trauma situations with appropriate interventions.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

- Completion of a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
