GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Accountant will support the organization's accounts receivable, billing, cash forecast, and collections workflows. This role will be tasked with reporting, analytics, reconciliations, and complex invoice reviews. As the company is growing rapidly and in the midst of an ERP implementation, this role will also assist in documenting policies and procedures for the Invoice to Cash business cycle.
Skills/Experience:
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Review AR Aging Report for collections Peparation of cash forecasting template Consolidate account disputes/variance and determine resolution plans Calculate DSO at the account and company level Review complex invoices to ensure alignment with customer agreement summaries as well as accounting policies Create the monthly journal entries (i.e. accruals, etc.) Reconcile the AR accounts on a monthly basis (trade, accruals, reserve, etc.) Recommend, create and/or refine AR policies and/or procedures QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB Skills and Requirements Strong AR accounting background High analytical and critical thinking skills Familiar with ERP software applications (i.e. SAP, Deacom) Solid time management experience, including the ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines, set priorities, and deliver on expected results Accurate and detailed oriented Excellent oral and written communication skills Team player Experience / Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 3-5 years working in Accounts Receivable preferred AR Factoring experience preferred Strong problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to work in a high-volume fast-paced environment KEY COMPETENCIES Learning Agility - the willingness and ability to learn from experience, and subsequently apply that learning to perform successfully under new or first-time conditions.
