Ariba Tech Support Specialist – 3 positions

Responsibilities:
• Administration of the centralized technical support of Source to Pay (S2P) applications - Ariba OnDemand (AOD), Ariba Network (AN), EchoSign, Onyx, and Cognos.
• Execute S2P technology support tasks, including: handling S2P application incidents; S2P application service enhancement requests; general management (tracking) of submitted change requests; implementing approved changes with minimal business disruption.
• Support the S2P application release process, including: review of supplier-provided release notes, escalation to appropriate contacts, coordination of testing activities, and consideration of impacts.
• Clearly set expectations for resolving each incident and coordinating change requests; then manage the business users and the project teams to those expectations.
Required Skills:
• 3 to 5 years of technical support experience with ERP applications. Preference for SAP ECC, Ariba OnDemand, and/or Ariba Network.
• Good understanding of best practices and current trends in technology relative to S2P is a plus.
• Experience with application maintenance activities, including change/release management process/system(s).
• 3 years of business intelligence/report development experience. IBM Cognos v8.4 or greater is preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience with SQL server and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a matrix organization and achieve objectives; some project management skills preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be customer focused – meaning must be able to understand the importance stakeholders business objectives and drive the process towards achieving those objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in working with all levels of an organization’s technical and business departments.
• Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic; and possess very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete deliverables on time and within budget.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
