Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our management team! We are seeking a supervisor to guide our housekeeping crew at an industrial facility in Madison, IN. The successful candidate will have a desire to cultivate their skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities to successfully lead their team. You will be responsible for overseeing the workflow at our facilities.
This position is not just someone who supervises the work of others; a supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. You will guide and train employees. The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively so as to ensure profitability, sustainable growth, and to deliver a high-quality standard to delight our customers.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flexible hours
Payrate: $48,000-53,000/year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of cleaning personnel to ensure that client facilities are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the cleaning services business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, and company leadership.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of cleaning personnel and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as quality, inventory, and personnel.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Train new employees
- Set goals for performance and deadlines.
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Monitor employee productivity.
- Receive complaints & resolve problems.
- Coordinate with onsite manager regarding any business needs.
- Support in hiring as needed.
