What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Foreman position at Integrated Sitework, LLC?
We are seeking to hire a Pipe Foreman (3 Years Experience Required) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience as a Pipe Foreman installing storm drain, sanitary sewer, and water lines. This position requires a strong understanding of pipe installation means and methods, quality control, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and ability to supervise a pipe crew.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a crew of 3-5 employees.
- Plan current day and next day activities and meet established production goals.
- Ensure pipe is installed per plans and project specifications.
- Able to accurately calculate grades, setup, and maintain pipe laser as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Ability to train other employees in means and methods to improve the final product and crew production.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Verifiable experience with references as a Pipe Foreman is required. 3 years required, 5 years preferred.
- Knowledge of pipe laying operations and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings effectively.
- Experience with quality control processes within a construction environment.
- Ability to perform acceptance testing for sanitary sewer and water lines.
- Utilize GPS rover for construction layout, machine control experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with Superintendent.
- Ability to use iPad to view plans, send daily timesheets, and access email.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task completion.
- Clean MVR with current drivers license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
