Our IS4S Ogden, Utah location is seeking to hire an experienced Link-16 Ground Support System (GSS) Engineer to support procurement, installation and site acceptance testing of the system at various world-wide locations. In particular, we are looking for candidates who are self-starters, teachable, and able to learn new things as they work together with others to solve challenging technical problems. Worldwide travel is required.
Job Role(s) : This position will :
- Support conversion of customer requirements into clear system requirements for Link-16 GSS operation
- Support the planning, site preparation, integration, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the Link-16 GSS
- Perform systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
- Provide engineering expertise to activities such as development, testing, evaluating, training and configuration management in support of an program
- Provide technical support to evaluate and integrate new capabilities
- Work with system, hardware, and software teams to design solutions to meet requirements
- Work with test team to ensure that all requirements are tested
