The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the entire cold-form steel process, encompassing manufacturing, panel assembly, and delivery to project sites. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the production team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Process Management: Oversee the entire cold-form steel process, from manufacturing to panel assembly to delivery, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency across all stages.
· Performance Management: Drive the execution of production activities to meet and exceed key performance indicators, such as productivity, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
· Financial Management: Understand financial objectives and develop strategies to optimize production processes and resource allocation, contributing to cost-effectiveness and profitability.
· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance production processes, streamline operations, and achieve long-term business objectives.
· Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all production staff.
· Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the production process, ensuring that all products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
· Communication: Effectively communicate production goals, performance metrics, and project updates to senior management, department heads, and production staff.
· Problem Solving: Identify challenges or bottlenecks in the production process and implement timely and effective solutions to mitigate risks and maximize efficiency.
· Training and Development: Support the training and development of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and resources to enhance their skills and capabilities.
· Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and finance, to optimize production workflows and achieve overall business objectives.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
· Bachelor's degree is preferred.
· Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or construction environment, with a focus on production management.
· Strong understanding of cold-form steel processes, manufacturing principles, and construction methodologies.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
· Proficiency in strategic planning, financial analysis, and performance management.
· Sound knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.
· Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational changes effectively.
· Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office programs, CRM systems, and production management tools.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
