We are looking for a highly organized, flexible and energetic Lead EVS Worker to work at a surgical hospital in Reidsville, GA
Job duties for the Lead EVS Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Provides functional direction for employees and assigned staff under the guidance of the Regional EVS Director
- Assigns work priorities in coordination with managers
- Prepares and posts schedules
- Assists employees with payroll concerns
- Performs and submits five (5) quality assurance inspection of assigned areas daily
- Responds to customer service issues with a "sense of urgency"
- Answers spectra phone and office telephone, takes messages and dispatches calls as necessary
- Informs manager of supply and product inventory levels
- Assists with interviewing and onboarding applicants/employees
- Orders supplies and produces in the absence of the manager
- Prepares, collects and maintains written information (such as attendance records, requisitions, scheduling activities, etc.)
- Informs manager of pertinent and relevant information in a timely manner
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment (i.e., change vacuum bags, belts, etc.)
- Dilutes cleaning solutions in accordance with directions/department policies
- Properly labels chemical containers and spray bottles
- Identifies and corrects safety hazards
- Move furniture, equipment and unoccupied patient beds
- Ensures drapes, cubicles and blinds are clean and in good repair
- Conducts employee training sessions as requested by manager
- Serves as a role model and assists with the orientation and training of new employees
- May prepare employee injury reports in the absence of the manager
- Performs duties of the EVS Specialist in areas when needed
