Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a mechanical and electrical build team during Industrial Material Handling installations. They will also assign daily tasks to site personnel, and coordinate with project management and engineering teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. This position can expect to travel 30-50%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanical and electrical installers on-site.
- Assign daily tasks to site personnel and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to align on project goals and timelines.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide training and support to team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the mechanical and electrical industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
- Passport for travel to Mexico, Canada, and other countries as needed.
Education and Experience:
