What are the responsibilities and job description for the Install Site Supervisor position at Jatca Inc.?
The Site Leader coordinates build and installation at A and/or at customer facilities. Collects all necessary documentation prior to the start of the installation (layout, mech. detail drawings, controls drawings). Site Leader visits the customer site to make sure that there will be no problems with the installation of our equipment. Raise concerns up front to assembly supervisor and or the installation Manager/Supervisor. Adheres to the installation schedule and raise concerns about timing problems and submits concerns to PM/PE and the installation Manager/Supervisor. If involved in the build at , review all materials and manpower required and raises concerns as early as possible to the PM/PE and the installation Manager/Supervisor. Attends the internal buyoff and create concerns list to avoid problems onsite. Submit a list to the assembly supervisors if required. Understands and follows any environmental regulations and identifies any safety/environmental concerns to the PM/PE and the Installation Manager/Supervisor. Understands and follows all safety regulations and identifies safety concerns. Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement. AT CUSTOMER FACILITY: Work with Plant Safety and Security for egress of all personnel. Works with the plant for possible storage areas and equipment unload. If an office/machine trailer is required, the site leader will work with the facilities group for all power requirements. Also, responsible for the trailer set up, phones, printers, computers, desks, internet and any other misc. materials that may be required. Receive all equipment that ships to the customer site. Also needs to verify that there has been no damage to any of the tooling being received at the customer facility and if there has follows company procedures for documenting all damage. Completes all the necessary documents and submits to the Installation Manager/Supervisor if required. Works with the installation contractor and/or customer for all manpower requirements, depending on who was awarded the installation. Insures that all employees have proper ID and safeties for onsite work. Submits all employees and contingent worker time and expense documentation to the office on Monday morning for the previous weekending’s work. Work with the installation department for all the manpower requirements throughout the program. (Submits Bi-Weekly duration chart updates) Completes weekly Site Synopsis report which shows what was accomplished, what issues came up and how they were resolved or how they will be resolved. This will be tracked by utilizing the open issues matrix (per system) for tracking all issues and their solutions. If outside trades are used, keeps track of all FOC’s. Send FOC’s back to on a weekly basis. Submits all additional materials (damaged, missing and or additional) to the Installation department and Project Manager for approval. Submits all field engineering changes to the Project and/or Controls Engineers so that the documents can be updated to the latest revision. Make sure that all Robot and PLC programs are backed up, especially when any changes have been made. Supports all travel requirements with each employee by utilizing the main office, Bi weekly duration charts to be submitted to Installation group e-mail. Make sure that all safety procedures are followed including proper PPE and proper housekeeping are maintained. Notify employees of the locations of the first aid facilities, and emergency numbers. Obtain all the proper permits for cutting and welding from plant security. Report all stolen materials and/or equipment loss to plant security (if required) and to the main office (per the site that you are supporting). Make sure that all equipment is checked-in with plant security, so that the equipment can be taken back out of the facility when the project is closing out. Maintains active inventory of all supplied Equipment (i.e.: Gang Boxes, Office Trailer and/or Machine Shop Trailers) Attends meeting with customer regarding installation progress and keep track of customer concerns. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
