What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Counsel position at Integrated Talent Strategies?
Integrated Talent Strategies is seeking an experienced attorney to add to our team in Kansas City, MO for a hybrid opportunity . We’re looking for someone with 4-6 years of experience, preferably with experience handling personal injury and / or medical malpractice claims, or with some experience handling construction litigation or business disputes on EITHER the plaintiff or defense side. The ideal candidate has meaningful experience in court (including handing arguments, hearings, motions, and depositions) and enjoys doing so, cares about quality, personal growth, and team success, and is seeking innovation and flexibility beyond a traditional law-firm culture. This role will pay a base salary between 130-170k plus 3% profit sharing to retirement, 4 weeks of vacation, and 100% employer paid healthcare premiums. The candidate must have expertise handling civil litigation cases in all phases of pre-litigation and litigation (including discovery, trial and case evaluation). This role will work closely with other attorneys on personal injury, medical malpractice, construction, or business disputes (often on the plaintiff side but sometimes defense). The candidate will not have an ego and is okay playing the lead on cases or a supporting role on a case to help a teammate.
