Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand our client base in BI, Data Warehousing, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and ETL solutions. This role is focused on new client acquisition, hunting for opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is a sales-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at identifying and closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt for new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients across industries.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in data analytics, BI, AI/ML, and ETL solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives and IT leaders.
- Drive new client acquisition through networking, cold calling, industry events, and leveraging personal/professional networks.
- Develop compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to showcase the value of our data and AI solutions.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals while ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and technical teams) to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to position our offerings effectively.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently driving pipeline growth and conversion.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the technology or data solutions space.
- Sales & Business Development Expertise:
- Proven track record in hunting for new clients, generating leads, and closing deals.
- Experience selling BI, Data Warehousing, AI/ML, Data Analytics, or ETL-related solutions is a plus.
- Ability to engage with senior executives and decision-makers to drive business conversations.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a consulting or SaaS sales environment.
- Understanding of cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Existing network of industry contacts in data analytics and AI.
