- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and tidy
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical office setting is a plus
- Experience using electronic health record systems (Epic) is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
