What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Engagement Coordinator position at Integrative Medical of Coppell?
We are seeking an upbeat and friendly Patient Care Specialist who is willing and eager to handle patient communication through answering phones, texting and emailing with patients, greeting patients in the office with a smile, and fielding various questions and concerns. This position also requires account management and reconciliation, for which we will train you (experience is nice, but not required.)
We are a busy multidisciplinary clinic for patients who have vastly different needs, varying from back pain to ADHD, hormonal imbalances, chronic health issues, and more. Job requirements include, but are not limited to, being kind and respectful at all times to patients on the phone, putting in requests for patient medications, scheduling patients for both family medicine and physical medicine appointments, calling patients about accounting/billing questions, and being a team player. We need someone who is mature, peaceful yet energetic, and always coming to work with a smile on their face!
- Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
- Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
- Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
