What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance specialist position at Integrea Community Mental Health Systems?
We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist who will be responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of buildings and grounds Center wide.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Performing routine maintenance around Center buildings such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Working on electrical systems ( i.e. installing electrical outlet boxes, replacing light switches, etc.)
Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Repairing and installing kitchen appliances and furniture
Installing and repairing / replacing flooring, trim, grout
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
Work with contracted vendors for approved services
Responsible for grounds maintenance of Center grounds and other special projects
Responsible for vehicle maintenance and repairs for assigned vehicle
Completes maintenance reports as assigned
All other duties as assigned
Skills Preferred :
Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity
Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or consumer s of the Center in a pleasant manner
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma / GED
Previous maintenance experience preferred
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
Must meet conditional employment requirements
Must have basic tools
Must be able to work an On-Call shift
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards
