Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. This strategic role involves overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of human capital management practices to foster a positive workplace culture and drive organizational success.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing all HR policies, programs, and services.
- Recruitment and retention, performance management, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, training, and organizational development.
- The Director of HR plays a strategic role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive employee engagement, company culture, and organizational performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team on HR matters, including workforce planning and talent management.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring initiatives and policies promote these values.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts, ensuring robust processes for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Develop workforce planning strategies to address current and future organizational needs, focusing on skills gaps, succession planning, and retention.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and resolving conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local requirements (e.g., FLSA, EEOC, OSHA).
- Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to reflect organizational standards and legal requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, aligning with industry standards and organizational budgets.
- Oversee annual performance review and compensation adjustment processes, working to maintain equitable pay practices.
Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Lead performance management initiatives, including goal setting, feedback processes, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee training and development programs, fostering employee growth, leadership development, and career progression.
- Implement organizational development initiatives that improve efficiency, collaboration, and culture across teams.
HR Operations & Data Analytics
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, employee records, and HRIS systems, ensuring efficient and compliant practices.
- Utilize HR analytics to track metrics, evaluate HR program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in an HR leadership role, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or a similar industry.
- Certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred.

- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strategic mindset with a strong understanding of business operations.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency with HRIS and data analysis tools.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools, with the ability to analyze trends and drive continuous improvement.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear, concise manner.
Attention to Detail:
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards.
Project Management:
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
