The Maintenance Technician repairs major and minor equipment within INTEGRIS with instruction and guidance from the Maintenance Technician Lead. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs preventive maintenance on building service equipment and records pertinent data
- Trouble shoots equipment using test equipment, technical manuals and blueprints
- Follows up on preventive maintenance schedule in checking, cleaning, and lubricating equipment and related work to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Checks, repairs, and changes minor electrical components as required, meeting occupant needs when safe and feasible
- Repairs numerous types of equipment including general building and cabinet repairs
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Manager or Director.
Must be able to speak, read and write English neatly and legibly.
Walks and stands most of the time. Requires frequent walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching above shoulder, lifting up to 100 lbs. Push loads up 480 pounds (equipment cart); climb up to 5 flights of stairs per day. Must climb ladders.

Potential exposure to electricity, hot water pipes and electrical writing, extreme cold, use of power equipment, and working with small spaces and heights.

- 1 year vocational training resulting in a certificate or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- This job requires the incumbents to operate a INTEGRIS owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS owned) and therefore must have a current Drivers License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
