The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist supports business facing Talent Acquisition (TA) Partners to source, cultivate and screen candidates for professional open positions within the business. This role serves as a labor market and candidate advisor supporting the recruitment kick off meetings, candidate slate presentation and delivering an excellent experience for all stakeholders. This role will develop talent channels and deliver qualified, diverse candidates who are engaged and excited about the company.
The Talent Acquisition Project Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support TA Partner and serve as candidate expert in kick off sessions with Hiring Managers sharing labor market intelligence and engaging in collaborative sourcing strategy discussions.
- Post open positions and publicize the role within social media forums, job boards, professional organizations, universities, or other channels.
- Develop external networks and utilize creative methods to find diverse talent including flexible work/hubs.
- Networking through technical journals, publications, and the internet, map talent to build database.
- Build a pipeline of high-quality talent thru Boolean search, research, and internal/external business connections.
- Source and screen qualified candidates against job requirements and company culture as well as surfacing diverse talent that would be a great fit for Oshkosh Corporation.
- Provide meaningful feedback and recommendations on candidates for TA Partner and Hiring Manager.
- Disposition timely in applicant tracking system and ensure all candidate communication is respectful and represents employment brand in a positive manner.
- Stay current with technology and trends thereby, providing insights and ideas of effective and innovative sourcing channels.
- Achieve key performance indicators related to delivery, quality, diversity, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Associate’s degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field; OR 3 years of recruiting experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the field or in a related area.
- General knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
