We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while managing schedules effectively.
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Handle any issues that may arise during transit, including route changes or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Assist in moving products as needed within the warehouse or delivery area.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is essential.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Skills in using loading equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts are advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver's license required.
