We are currently initiating a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our corporate accounting team. The Opportunity

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for processing and paying invoices the company owes in an accurate and timely fashion.

This is a hybrid opportunity located in Richmond, VA

Your Responsibilities

• High volume invoice processing on an accurate and timely basis.
• Process full cycle A/P including invoice coding, data entry
• Handle three-way match, coding, review and reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Research and resolve PO/invoice discrepancies.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Review invoices for accuracy and work with appropriate departments for approvals
• Assist with creating and tracking vendor files
• Identify ideas for process improvement

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting (preferred)
• 3 years of experience and proficiency in an automated AP environment
• Experience working in a Shared Services environment
• Experience working with multiple ERP systems (3 or more)
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs
• Basic Windows proficiency
