Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes. This role involves handling employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, tracking compliance documentation, and supporting HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and exit interviews
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Support HR compliance efforts by tracking required documentation and deadlines
- Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and assist with HR communications.
- Assist in compiling HR metrics and reports, such as attendance trends, new hire data, and turnover analysis, using HR software and Excel spreadsheets
- Assist in processing employee status changes, salary adjustments, and internal transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR policies
- Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollment and responding to basic benefits-related inquiries
- Help coordinate performance review cycles and track completion of employee evaluations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information in compliance with company policies and legal standards (e.g., HIPAA, FMLA, ADA)
- Two years of administrative or HR-related experience preferred
- Experience in an HR-related role or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Experience with HRIS (e.g., ADP) is highly desirable
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Working Conditions
This role primarily operates in an office setting; however, occasional visits to the production floor may be required to support HR functions, such as employee engagement initiatives or compliance checks. Employees may encounter moderate noise levels or temperature variations. Proper PPE will be provided and is required in designated areas.
