Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. The PCA will provide direct care and support to clients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, reliable, and committed to improving the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including transfers and ambulation.
• Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring (e.g., checking vital signs).
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, sweeping, and organizing.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Document and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising healthcare professional.
• Ensure compliance with care plans and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or willingness to complete a state-approved training program.
• CPR certification (required).
• First Aid certification (preferred).
• Previous experience in home care or a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and supporting clients.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
