Job Summary
Welcome to Integrity Heating & Air! We're one of the fastest growing Heating & Air companies in the State of Delaware, and are expanding our market in Maryland! We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR/Payroll administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including payroll processing, account reconciliation, and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to support the HR department effectively while ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time using Paychex payroll software.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including payroll, tax regulations, and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in an HR or finance role is a plus but not required.
