About the Role
The successful candidate must have a broad knowledge of IT across multiple disciplines and strong multitasking abilities. They must also be able to support or quickly learn to support all aspects of small business networks including networking devices, servers, desktop computers, and related peripherals.
As such, the Sr. IT Support Technician is expected to model professionalism with stellar communication skills, interfacing with clients and team members both on-site and online. Daily activities include a wide variety of tasks with varying levels of complexity.
Additionally, because this position interacts directly with clients, you must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of client’s privileged information. You must also be able to work independently and utilize good judgment as the decisions you make will affect the operations of the company and of our clients. For our clients, many of them will view you as an advisor/consultant/representative for the company’s products and services.

Primary Responsibilities
- Interface directly with clients, often on-site (within the KC metro area)
- Network configuration and troubleshooting
- Server configuration and troubleshooting
- Cloud set up and migrations for Microsoft 365
- Create/Plan/Update/ documentation of client specific computer programs based on and related to client’s specifications or client’s machine operating systems.
- Escalation point for complex system issues
