What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Support Specialist position at Integrity Living Options, Inc?
Integrity Living Options, Inc. (ILO) is a Minnesota based organization incorporated in 2002 that provides responsive and respectful services and supports for individuals with a range of disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. The Accounting Support Specialist will have a hybrid module of in-office and remote time. The first few months could have additional in-office time to provide the support and training needed.
- Invoice Processing: Prepare and process vendor invoices to include vendor verification and resolving discrepancies.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger entries, and credit card reconciliation.
- Report Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Data Entry: Entering financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Bank Deposits: Assisting with bank deposits.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Administrative Tasks: Providing general administrative support to the business office department, managing office supplies, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
- Software Proficiency: Utilizing accounting software and other relevant software programs, high level of understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Payroll: Payroll support as needed.
