Clinical Details
The anesthesiologist will be working on a variety of cases, including OB, Spine, Ortho, Gen, GI, and limited pediatrics. The annual OB volume is approximately 400 cases.

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Board Certification: Must be board certified in anesthesia.
- Licensure: Must have an active South Carolina medical license and DEA/CSR in hand.
- Block Scheduling: Must be able to do block scheduling.
Work Schedule
The work schedule includes various shifts, with options ranging from 10.5 to 12.5 hours per shift, Monday through Sunday. Call duties include both beeper and call-back responsibilities.
- Shift Types:
- 6:30am-7pm (12.5 hours) - Monday-Sunday
- 6:30am-5pm (10.5 hours) - Monday-Friday
- 6:30am-3pm (8.5 hours) - Monday-Friday
- CALL:
- Call? Yes
- Beeper/Call Back? Both
- The CRNA will remain in the case no later than 9pm.
- The MD will assume beeper call once all cases are complete and only the MD will be called back if necessary.
Facility Information
The facility has 6 operating rooms dedicated to obstetrics, with Cerner EMR system used by the anesthesia team.
