What we offer you
- Get paid by the pool maintenance day, starting at $140 once you are independently cleaning pools, with raises once you consistently maintain a certain number of pools with quality and attention to detail.

Duties of a swimming pool technician
- Perform routine cleaning maintenance on swimming pools and related equipment
- Clean and maintain pool filters, pumps, and other mechanical systems
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels as needed
- Vacuum, skim, and brush pool surfaces to remove debris
- Inspect pool equipment for signs of wear or damage and report any issues to client and supervisor
- Fill out details of tasks at each pool visit: chemical readings/dosages, instructions on pool, and before/after pictures 100% of the time (whether a one-time job or regular maintenance visit). This is using the Skimmer app.
- Use proper protective measures when handling hazardous pool chemicals.
*Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. You may be asked to perform other duties as assigned along with a supervisor, such as winterization or drain & cleans, but you will be paid additionally.
Represent our company brand professionally, in:
- Driving- Drive to each pool stop in such a way as to follow all TXDOT laws, be courteous to other drivers, and protect pool equipment in the truck or trailer from spillage or falling out of the vehicle
- Conversations- Occasionally speak with customers and maintenance clients on pool details and translating pool science into simple language for clients to understand
- Genuine care- Ensure each property is left better than it was found (no debris left, all gates closed and locked, skimmer basket put back,etc.)
- Track time and report to customers/owner via text or application
- Attend company meetings on time (weekly and/or monthly)
- Start each maintenance work day between 7 am and 9 am, aiming to complete all pools no later than 5 pm.
Skills/Experience
- High-level customer service principles
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills
- Smartphone/computer literacy (using pool service software and other apps)
- Great written and spoken communication skills
- Previous experience in pool maintenance and water chemistry is a plus, but not required.
- If you have a CPO license, you are eligible for higher pay.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Background check
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pool equipment and chemicals (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
