Position Overview:
This is a one-person office for a 116 apartment home community in Mayfield Hts. by Hillcrest Hospital. It's a great growth opportunity for a strong assistant property manager!
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting all leasing activities, managing resident relations, and overseeing property maintenance and safety. These duties include conducting tours, lease management, rent collection, resolving resident concerns, and maintaining property standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all leasing activities, including responding to inquiries, providing property tours, and coordinating move-ins.
- Manage rent collection, follow up on delinquent payments, and initiate necessary procedures for collection or eviction.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain the property's safety, cleanliness, and appeal.
- Address resident complaints, questions, and requests promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of property management experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Yardi is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a multitasking environment.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation during the work day.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test (we screen for marijuana).
