The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations and financial performance of the property. - Support the Property Manager with budget preparation, tracking expenses, and monitoring financial performance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to occupancy, income, and maintenance expenses as required.
- Process vendor invoices, and assist with vendor contract management to control costs and ensure quality service.
- Maintenance and Inspections: Coordinate and schedule maintenance requests with the maintenance team and follow up to ensure completion.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues and report findings to the Property Manager.
- Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure that the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained, meeting company and regulatory standards.

- Update and manage property management software with resident information, maintenance requests, and financial data.
- Assist the Property Manager with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, or MRI) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently throughout the property.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds and conduct property inspections as needed.
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend work based on property needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
