CNC Setup Programming Opportunities in Redford, Michigan
A local manufacturer in prototype and specialty machining in Redford, Michigan is currently seeking several CNC Setup Programmers for long-term opportunities with their growing company. These are excellent opportunities for CNC Setup Programmers with any experience with GibbsCAM or other CAM software who are looking for a company that offers great benefits, stable employment, and growth opportunities.
CNC Setup Programmer hourly rates are anticipated to start between $25 to $35 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. We will pay more for the right skills and experience. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, 401k, and more.
Qualified CNC Setup Programmers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience :
- CNC Programming, setup, and operations.
- Experience G&M Coding, 2D or 3D CAM Software (GibbsCAM, MasterCAM, etc.).
- Read Blueprints with GD&T, good shop math with trig, speeds & feeds, use of inspection tools.
- Experience with prototype, one-off or low volume work.
- Able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
