We're located in St. Clair County, and looking to hire skilled CNC programmers and setup persons for our recently acquired new machinery.
Come join a stable fast-growing company that manufactures a wide variety of high-precision components for multiple industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Agriculture, Military, etc. This position offers job stability in a friendly, modern, clean and air-conditioned work environment with a reliable schedule of 40 hours per week plus time and ½ for hours above that. Our machining facility consists of late model Mazak CNC lathes, mills, and associated support machinery. We are committed to quality and customer satisfaction and are consistently awarded repeat business based on that fact.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Setup and operation of multi-axis Mazak CNC machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, tables and various symbols regarding tolerances, surface finishes, etc.
• Program and/or perform program modifications
• Monitor wear of tools, fixtures, and machines
• Perform quality inspections
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years CNC programming experience
• Experience with Mazak controls and Mazatrol
• Ability to read & interpret blue prints, drawings, charts & tables
• Knowledge and use of measuring tools
• Must follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
• Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
