What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aluminum Pulse Welder position at Integrity Staffing Services?
POSITION OVERVIEW?
We are seeking a dedicated Aluminum Pulse Welder that is certified in 3G and 4G in preferably 3 or more disciplines. The candidate will weld together structural metal components as specified in blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.
REQUIREMENTS?
Certified in 3G and 4G in at least 3 or more of the following disciplines preferred : flux core, short arc, aluminum, aluminum heliarc, stainless steel, carbon-to-stainless steel, and submerged arc
SKILLS?
Make a full penetration weld that will pass NDE Testing (i.e. x-ray, ultrasound, magnetic particles, dye penetrant)
Able to lay out track marks
Identify most used welding symbols
RESPONSIBILITIES?
Binding together structural metal components that have been pre-assembled and tacked into place
Performing good, cosmetic sound welds
Examining his / her work and chipping off excess weld, slag, and splatter with the appropriate tools (i.e. grinder, chipping hammer, etc.)
Troubleshooting his / her equipment.
Gouging / grinding to remove a member, make a seam sound, remove weld reinforcement, etc.
