CNC Press Break Operator
The press brake operator will setup and operate a CNC Press brake, and other equipment used to manufacture sheet metal Parts.
The operator must be willing to learn, and work in other areas of the manufacturing process.
Our client will train the right person to operate the equipment if they meet the minimum requirements and have the proper attitude. This position requires you to be on your feet a significant portion of the day and be able to lift to 50lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operate a CNC Press Brake, and metal cutting equipment efficiently to ensure that specifications are met.
- Calculate unspecified dimensions and machine settings as needed.
- Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to decide dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and Tooling setup requirements.
- Inspect sample work pieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and tape measures.
- Maintains and supports the Company’s Quality Management System procedures and documentation.
- Adheres to ISO 9001 Standard
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
