Reliability Engineer - Inspection, Troubleshooting, Failure Analysis - Ashtabula, OH #25-00989
Salary Range : $90K - $145K Bonus - Permanent Position with Benefits.
A manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Reliability Engineer to be responsible for all the in motion / rotating equipment in the plant.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline.
- 5 years manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in a chemical manufacturing plant.
- 3 years of experience in a related reliability role preferred.
- Candidate should have strong knowledge and experience with rotating equipment; centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, vacuum pumps, gearboxes, mechanical seals, centrifugal fans and blowers, and vibrational analysis.
- Knowledgeable in the main factors that play a role in damaging rotating equipment and be responsible for setting up inspection methods, identify what caused the failure and implement preventative plans.
- Understands process safety management & ISO systems.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Strong understanding of how to diagnose issues and knowledgeable of tools and how to solve on-going problems both mechanical & electrical.
- Seeking strong communication skills, able to mentor others, analytical and be a strategic thinker.
- Evaluate and implement inspection findings to continuously improve maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Set up & implement asset maintenance programs and procedures to maintain or improve asset condition and performance as well as develop plans to improve equipment reliability for rotating equipment.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
