We are seeking a Financial Analysis Intern to support our team in the Finance Department. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise, methodology and leadership to the analyst team. Responsibilities

• Carry out cost and revenue analyses based on the various dimensions specific to the transportation industry.

• Model revenue and cost trends while reviewing the various related drivers. This potentially involves extensive use of statistical analysis to forecast or model future revenue trends;

• Analyze and provide recommendations on existing cost and revenue structures, while identifying opportunities to improve profitability;

• Work with operations teams to support and respond to their business needs;

• Analyze and interpret operational and accounting data to explain variations and trends in relation to results and budget;

• Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc requests from the management team;

• Analyze, validate and document any changes or new processes using the reporting system.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in administration, finance or accounting. 

• Advanced knowledge of Excel. 

• Able to explain operational activities in simple terms and translate them into a financial context. 

• Bilingual (French and English) – written and spoken.
