To support the Finance Department, Intelcom is looking for a CPA Intern. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the department with various period-end and quarter-end analyses. Responsibilities 

• Participate in month-end closing activities, including providing analysis and commentary on month-to-month variances.   

• Assist in the preparation of recurring and non-recurring journal entries  

• Assist in the reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet items and results, and prepare monthly worksheets  

• Provide support in cash management   

• Provide support and participate in specific analyses relating to managers' requests  

• Contribute to the drafting of general accounting procedures such as cash flow, fixed assets, month-end modules, etc.  

• Opportunity to improve tools and procedures  

• Any other related tasks 

Qualifications 

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting.   

• Exceptional critical thinking and time-management skills.   

• Strong spirit of collaboration and teamwork.  

• Attention to detail, good organization and communication skills.   

• Ability to work independently.  

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).   

• Bilingual (French and English) – written and spoken.
