We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Tax to join our finance team. This role is responsible for tax planning, compliance, and reporting for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and experience with nonprofit tax and healthcare is preferred.
Prepare, review, and file Federal, State, Sales, and Use tax returns
Maintain and complete 855, 990 tax forms
Manage overall tax data and systems
Oversee and perform tax planning activities for the organization
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
Research and evaluate the impact of tax laws on the organization
Identify and recommend strategies to minimize tax liability
Support internal and external audits related to tax compliance
Manage property tax exemptions and coordinate payments
Provide tax-related insights to business leaders and CFOs
3 years of tax experience (Required)
1 year of nonprofit tax & healthcare experience (Preferred)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Preferred)
Compensation : $73,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
