Oakline Construction Group is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager for construction projects nationwide. Oakline Construction Group is a St. Louis, MO based General Contractor with forty plus years' experience in retail, restaurant, grocery and multiuse construction. Typical projects are $1mil to $5mil with a construction schedule ranging from 90 to 240 days. The position being offered is a long-term salaried position and not project specific.
The Project Manager (PM) reports directly to the Director of Operations and works with all project staff. The basic job function is to provide best-in-class service to our clients by excelling in quality standards, timeliness of the project completion, and unsurpassed value.
The responsibilities of the Project Manager are summarized as follows :
- Nurture and cultivate Client and Subcontractor relationships.
- Manage projects from bidding phase through turn-key closeout.
- Estimating projects; including plan review, subcontractor qualification, and preparation of proposals.
- Develop project budget and manage project costs.
- Manage contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements.
- Development of the project critical path schedule. Direct and monitor schedule progress.
- Obtain and coordinate all necessary permits and licenses.
- Communicate with various project players as necessary to maximize project success.
- Collaborate with project team, clients, design professionals for project success and conflict resolution.
- Direct and monitor construction activity via project superintendent and project team.
- Complete accounting reports, payables and receivables pay applications.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality of construction.
- Manage projects to ensure safety of the entire project team.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
