Job Summary: We are looking for an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to oversee and coordinate internal manufacturing projects. This role focuses on managing project schedules, processing change orders, and ensuring timely completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in managing manufacturing projects and a strong ability to handle internal processes and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing internal manufacturing projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Process and manage change orders from end clients, ensuring accurate documentation and implementation.
- Coordinate with various departments, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management.
- Ensure all projects comply with company standards and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up to date and accurate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience managing manufacturing projects, preferably within the interior design or related industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
