IntellecTechs is looking for a qualified Human Resources Specialist that will provide administrative support with the day-to-day operations of the human resources department’s functions and duties. The HR Specialist may be responsible for some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, recruiting, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, and employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, and recording meeting minutes as needed.
- Preparing source documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits.
- Establishing, maintaining and controlling personnel records, recruitment relations records, files, correspondence, reports, and organization charts.
- Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information/clearances, data and files.
- Responding to and putting through various queries from managers and employees, and from other agencies or departments.
- Interpreting, assisting and advising employees and managers regarding cooperative agreement applications, leave management and benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines.
- Conducting research, gathering data and statistical reports, and maintaining statistical information across various states.
- Keeping up current issues and matters in the organization related to HR department.
- Maintaining up-to-date employee files by handling changes in employee status in timely manner.
- Helping in maintenance of employee directory and company organization charts.
- Interacting with and supplying information to employees, department heads, and job applicants.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; however, some college is preferred.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Human Resources administrative support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of standard office equipment (fax, copier, computer, phone, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Must be able to interface with a wide range of people, both internal and external to the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, follow-through and meet multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to prioritize workload and handle multiple assignments in a high-paced and confidential environment.
- Ability to work in an environment with constant interruptions.
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Ability to pass background screening and obtain a government security clearance.
