Title: Construction Manager
Location: Overland Park KS - Onsite
Duration: 18 months contract
Scope of Work:
Responsible for managing all Civil Works activities and financial control through scheduling, subcontractor/vendor management, and quality assurance for assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance with site design and control costs
- Ensure only approved materials are used
- Enforce Civil Works guidelines, timelines, and safety standards
- Attend and contribute to coordination and progress meetings
- Provide on-site supervision during critical construction phases
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper tool and environmental conditions
- Resolve Civil Works issues on-site
- Coordinate disciplines to align with project goals
- Manage project schedules and address delays
- Ensure technical specifications and quality standards are met
- Enforce all safety guidelines and procedures
- Conduct site pre-inspections, audits, and visual quality checks
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports
- Provide technical support to service providers and vendors
- Reject incorrect deliveries and report issues
- Supervise and coordinate service provider activities
- Lead project team with focus on quality and results
- Handle material claims, orders, and returns
- Maintain project data in relevant systems including documentation such as:
- Scope of Work, NTPs, RFDS, safety guidance, and quality standards
- Verification of NTP and RFDS submissions
- Civil acceptance, progress tracking, and close-out documentation
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects (500 sites)
- Strong skills in leadership, safety, scheduling, and quality assurance
Training and Certifications:
- OSHA 30
- RF Awareness
- CPR/First Aid
- Ergonomics
