Position: Data Analyst IV – Supply Chain
Location: Bellevue, Washington (preferred); Overland Park, KS also available
Eligibility:
- U.S. Citizens only (FTE)
- Preferred local Washington candidates
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Collect complex data from multiple internal and external sources. Identify new data sources to enhance business outcomes and support both strategic and tactical objectives. Provide insights and guidance to stakeholders regarding trends and drivers behind results, and prepare detailed reports.
- Assess business needs, prioritize projects, and drive new reporting requirements to completion. Collaborate cross-functionally to enable data architecture and solutions that meet the analytics and reporting needs. Ensure clarity in requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Define and support processes to improve data quality, including:
- Frequency of data collection
- Consistency (normalization)
- Automation of data gathering activities
- Validation of datasets to ensure alignment between Source and Databricks datasets
- Support multiple business lanes and provide assistance as needed. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
Role Overview:
The Data Analyst will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of both technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve a wide range of business challenges. The role involves working through the full data analysis lifecycle—problem framing, data collection, exploratory analysis, model development, deployment, and performance measurement. The core objective is to generate real business value from data.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proficiency in designing and executing data validation tests to identify inconsistencies and ensure data quality across various sources and pipelines.
- Strong expertise in SQL, scripting languages (Python, R), and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience in understanding, analyzing, and documenting data requirements, including validation criteria and acceptance thresholds for new data features or pipelines.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts to validate data integrity and transformation logic.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure data alignment with business needs.
- Excellent communication skills for working cross-functionally with data engineers, product owners, and business analysts.
- Knowledge of T-Mobile’s Network and/or Device Supply Chain is a plus.
