Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer to lead and support electrical design initiatives aligned with our client’s objectives. This role involves driving process improvements, managing validation activities, and overseeing change management in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in electrical technology to troubleshoot and optimize systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate, interpret, and analyze electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams, including complex automated system drawings.
- Assess engineering change orders, update systems accordingly, and implement solutions to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to qualify and integrate assembly processes into production systems.
- Document procedures, results, numerical data, and provide recommendations for product or process improvements.
- Maintain software, documentation, and equipment to meet current revision and operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Review product designs to ensure Design for Compliance principles are met.
- Oversee product verification, characterization, and testing procedures.
- Contribute to regulatory certification processes, standards compliance, and reliability testing.
- Assist the Quality Manager in audit preparation and execution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with UL standards (Switchgear, Switchboards, Busways, Transfer Switches)
