Role: Technician II

SUMMARY:
Uses schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to adjust, repair, maintain, and test electronic equipment. Needs prior 2-4 years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices down to component level. Prior SMT experience a must. May perform as a Bench Technician (Tech I). Also may translate into lateral position as a Service Tech that will assist end users with troubleshooting via phone and/or e-mail. High School Diploma and some trade experience required.
Description:
- Issue chemicals and in-process materials to manufacturing work orders and requisitions. Includes work with aseptic materials, frozen materials, and disposal of material based upon hazardous classification.
- Dispense materials by using aseptic, gravimetric, or volumetric procedures.
- Individual will be required to perform math calculations and trained to safely handle chemical and biologic materials.
- Insure proper set up and operation of weighing and measuring equipment, and utilize a variety of documentation to perform job functions.
- Act as On the Job Trainer for certain areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for the accurate dispensing of materials.
- The impact of not performing the job correctly could lead to product being used in error, and in turn, unnecessary disposal of valuable product.
